Recruit4staff are representing an established steelwork fabrication business in their search for a Stick Welder to work On-site in Wrexham

Job Details:

• Pay: £15 - £18 PAYE DOE
• Hours of Work: Full-time hours Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm
• Regular Overtime available
• Duration: Temp To Perm

Job Role: The Stick Welder will be responsible for carrying out a variety of welding tasks, with a primary focus on welding rods onto frames. You will be expected to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols, adhere to health and safety procedures, and contribute to other fabrication, fitting, or assembly duties as needed. Work will be carried out on site for the first month.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Ability to carry out stick welding (SMAW) to required specifications and standards
• Experience welding rods onto frames and performing general welding duties
• Competence in reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Adherence to health and safety protocols and correct PPE usage
• Ability to assist in fabrication, assembly, or fitting work
• Valid CSCS / CCNSG / Safety Passport

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Experience in pipe welding, structural fabrication, or repair welding
