Telephone Customer Service & Sales Advisor – £28,000 – Wimbledon Park, London (Office Based)

The Role

Do you have a confident and professional telephone manner? Do you enjoy helping customers and providing excellent service? SDS London is a well-established Employee-Owned Architectural Ironmongery specialist with over 35 years of experience. We support trade and retail customers across the UK and Europe, helping to deliver high-profile construction projects.

We’re looking for a Telephone Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join our friendly team who will work Monday – Friday | 9am – 5pm.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring they receive outstanding service. This is an inbound sales and customer service role – no cold calling required!

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Processing customer orders and assisting with after-sales support.
  • Advising customers on product solutions (with expert guidance available).
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing clients.

The Person

  • Professional, confident, and customer focused.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in interior design, property refurbishment, or architectural ironmongery is beneficial.
  • Fluent in spoken English.
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Wimbledon Park.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or telesales is desirable.
  • A proven track record in sales would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
