JE145: Heat and Air Pump Engineer
Location: Wigan
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Heat and Air Pump Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Service and maintenance of ASHP and GSHP

Install plumbing systems in new construction projects or renovations

Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
-
Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on job sites

Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
-
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
-
Adhere to safety standards and building codes at all times
-
In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Plumber or relevant role

G3 unvented is ideal but training can be given
-
Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and disassemble plumbing components

Capability to perform heavy lifting as required

Technical fault finding of some description preferable

Demonstrable success in the technical arena

Ability to lead and motivate teams

Sound understanding of all commercial aspects associated with projects

Ability to work alongside large parent organisation

Carpentry skills for minor construction tasks

Familiarity with different types of pipes and fitting
