Day-to-day of the role:

Maintain the fixed asset register.

Handle monthly prepayments and accruals, calculations, and postings.

Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
-
Perform bank and revenue reconciliations.
-
Reconcile inter-company transactions monthly.
-
Prepare VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Process payroll for weekly employees.
-
Manage sales ledger and purchase ledger processing as needed.
-
Make cash book entries.
-
Produce ad-hoc reports.
-
Assist in producing monthly management accounts and quarterly MI for the bank.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Good Excel and analytical skills.
-
Confidence and ability to work independently.

Strong attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication skills.
-
Experience in construction accounting preferred.

ACCA, ACA, CIMA Finalist or professional level certification required.
