FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a specialist structural investigation, testing and scanning company with the recruitment of a Field Technician .

Permanent position. This role will be based from Watford , with travel to construction sites. The company works across structural investigation, concrete scanning and construction materials testing using specialist technology and equipment.

Salary

£28,000 – £35,000, depending on experience + regular overtime available & growth opportunities + Company Van

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out structural investigations on construction sites.
• Use specialist scanning technology and testing equipment.
• Undertake on-site testing of construction materials and structures.
• Accurately record site findings and complete results sheets.
• Carry out basic calculations and assist with technical reporting.
• Work across a varied range of construction and civil engineering projects.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and correctly.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within construction, engineering, testing or a technical field-based role would be advantageous.
• An engineering or construction-related qualification would be beneficial but is not essential .
• Full training will be provided.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites.
• Good attention to detail and basic numerical ability.
• Proactive, reliable and positive “can-do” attitude .
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Candidates must live within approximately 30 miles of WD18, Watford .
