I'm representing a property developer in their search for an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the build sector, supporting the company’s continued expansion.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for new projects, from tender stage to contract award.
• Assess project specifications, drawings, and requirements to produce competitive pricing.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure cost efficiency.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates.
• Work closely with commercial and project teams to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and industry trends.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Estimating role within the build sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and procurement.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
