The Role
Are you a Project Engineer with a passion for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective projects that meet agreed requirements? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Asset Protection & Diversions Programme (APDP) team at United Utilities (UU). Our team is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer who can provide robust project management for complex schemes in a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of both internal and external Clients.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying engineering solutions and leading a variety of projects within the Asset Protection & Diversions Portfolio. You will work closely with delivery teams and Project Managers across the programme, gaining valuable insights into our organisation, major contracts, key industry partners, and the operating environments of our external Clients. By leveraging your expertise, you will address engineering and commercial challenges unique to our programme and external Clients' needs, collaborating with other experts. You will influence key aspects of how proposals and solutions are delivered to meet both internal and external requirements.
