To be considered for the Modelling Engineer role:
Proficiency in LSS ground modelling software and other CAD tools
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse complex data
Extensive experience in site engineering, surveying, and earthworks
In-depth understanding of residential groundwork and construction processes
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Key duties and responsibilities of the Modelling Engineer role Include:
Ground Modelling & CAD Design – Develop and refine 3D ground models using LSS software and other CAD tools for construction projects.
Surveying & Site Engineering – Analyse topographical and site data to assist in earthworks, drainage, and groundwork designs.
Data Analysis & Reporting – Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to interpret survey data, create reports, and provide insights for project planning.
Collaboration & Project Support – Work closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Quality & Compliance – Ensure all designs meet industry regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
Problem-Solving & Optimization – Identify and resolve site challenges, optimizing models for cost-effective and efficient solutions.
Key Information about the Modelling Engineer Includes:
Salary of £40k-60k dependant on experience
Full Time, Permanent role
Hours 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday- Friday
