Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Swansea (Hospital Project) or Cardiff Bay (Commercial Project)

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Rate: TBC (Dependent on Experience)

Contract Type: Ongoing Works

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our growing team for ongoing projects in Swansea (Hospital Development) and Cardiff Bay (Commercial New Build).

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and qualified individual to lead mechanical installations and ensure project deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all on-site mechanical activities (HVAC, pipework, public health systems).
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of mechanical works.
Monitor compliance with health & safety regulations, RAMS, and method statements.
Ensure mechanical installations meet design specifications, project programmes, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections and report progress to the project manager.
Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, QA checklists, and test certificates.Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
SSSTS or SMSTS (Site Supervisor/Manager Safety Training Scheme).
Valid CSCS card or Skill card
PASMA / IPAF desirable but not essential
Proven experience supervising mechanical installations on large-scale construction or healthcare projects.
Good understanding of mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and multi-trade coordination.
