Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Lecturer to join our client's dedicated Built Environment team at their college. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering, looking to make a significant impact in the educational sector by contributing to the planning and introduction of T Levels.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver educational programs from Level 2 to Level 5, including BTEC/Edexcel/Pearson courses in Construction and the Built Environment/Civil Engineering.
  • Engage and inspire students through high-quality lectures and course materials.
  • Participate in the continuous development and planning of curriculum and courses to meet educational standards and industry needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance teaching methods and overall student experience.
  • Provide academic and professional guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the Construction industry.
  • Strong commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior teaching experience is beneficial but not required as full teacher training will be provided.
