The role involves working predominantly outdoors in a busy operational yard.
Strong communication skills and a safety-conscious approach are essential.
Control vehicle movements safely throughout the yard.
Give clear instructions and signals to drivers.
Communicate with weighbridge operators and operational teams.
Ensure first-time visitors complete the required site induction.
Monitor compliance with site operating times and traffic rules.
Report drivers who fail to follow movement instructions.
Ensure PPE requirements are followed.
Keep the yard clear of debris, obstacles and potential hazards.
Arrange cleaning support when required.
Assist other site teams when necessary.
Strong communication skills and confidence giving clear instructions to drivers.
A safety-conscious and observant approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Willingness to work predominantly outdoors.
Ability to follow site procedures and safety requirements.
Previous experience as a Banksman.
Experience working in a yard, recycling, logistics or a similar operational environment.
