We're working with a well-established local contractor that specialises in social housing maintenance, who are seeking an experienced Carpenter & Joiner to join their team. This is a great long-term opportunity to deliver high-quality repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance across domestic properties across Staines-upon-Thames.
Responsibilities:

Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs within occupied residential properties.

Completing a range of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks to a high standard.

Hanging internal and external doors, including fitting door furniture and ironmongery.

Installing and repairing skirting boards, architraves, and other finishing joinery.

Repairing or replacing windows and doors, including adjustments and general maintenance.

Carrying out lock changes and security-related carpentry works.

Repairing or installing kitchen units, worktops, and UPVC components.

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with required specifications.

Maintaining excellent customer care, communicating politely and professionally with residents at all times.

Using handheld devices or paperwork to record job details, updates, and completed works.

Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
