We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple residential developments, working closely with the Construction Director, Construction Manager and wider project teams.

You will be responsible for driving safe, high‑quality, on‑programme and commercially controlled delivery across your allocated sites, ensuring business objectives and KPIs are met.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture across all sites
Manage multiple live developments to programme, quality and budget targets
Oversee and support Site Managers and site teams, providing clear direction and leadership
Work closely with Commercial and Technical teams on buildability, costs and risk
Ensure Cala standards are met for quality, customer service and compliance
Manage subcontractors, consultants and supply chain performance
Proactively identify and resolve build, people, customer and programme issues
Support pre‑tender and pre‑start planning and site close‑out activities

About you

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or operating at this level) within residential housebuilding
Strong people management and leadership skills
Commercially aware with experience controlling costs and margins
Confident managing multiple developments simultaneously

First Aid at Work
Relevant CSCS card

Desirable:

Experience working to NHBC standards
Temporary Works Co‑ordinator, SEATS/IEMA, or scaffold inspection qualifications
