Join an established building consultancy as the focal point of their Building Regulations offering. This role can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you can access one of their offices in London or regionally. This is a new role for the business - they have people in house currently delivering some work, but need to now have a centralised role leading the service, either just in a delivery capacity as a Senior Consultant, or as an Associate or Director driving growth for the service line.

This is a Building Regulations Principal Designer role, so first and foremost, the successful candidate needs to have direct BRPD experience on projects, both low risk and HRB. In undertaking this role you will not be expected to design every discipline but will require sufficient knowledge of regulations and technical guidance to assess and coordinate compliance across the design team. Beyond technical delivery, there is the opportunity for a strategic lead to undertake service line growth, creating and developing a team whilst growing the wider commercials of the service. HRB experience isn't essential, but would be key to hitting the higher end of the salary banding associated with the role. We are happy to look at technical professionals from various backgrounds, but architectural, design or building control qualifications are key.
