Pay Rate: £23.00 - £25.00 per hour

We're looking for an Electrician to join a long-term social housing maintenance programme, delivered on behalf of the local council. In this role, you'll carry out a range of electrical repairs and installations across council-owned properties, helping ensure safe, reliable, and well-maintained homes for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Performing a comprehensive range of responsive repairs, maintenance tasks, and planned works.
• Identifying and resolving electrical faults reported by tenants.
• Addressing urgent electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and safety hazards.
• Installing new electrical systems, such as lighting, sockets, consumer units, and complete rewiring in both occupied and vacant properties.
• Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and necessary remedial work to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Upholding a professional and respectful demeanour when engaging with residents and housing staff.
• Using a hand held electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and log completed works.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
• Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (2357)
