Retrofit Designer Job in London! This company has launched a new design division within its retrofit consultancy, aiming for ambitious growth over the next year. It offers a comprehensive range of services in the retrofit sector, including project management and compliance, while providing highly flexible working arrangements, including remote and adjustable hours.

Our client is seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic professionals to join their team as Energy Efficiency Specialists. This role focuses on enhancing the energy efficiency of social housing and commercial projects within the public sector.

Successful candidates will work with industry standards PAS 2035, PAS 2030, and PAS 2038 to drive improvements in energy performance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee the productions, sign off, and implement retrofit design packages
• Liaising with the in-house retrofit coordinator's assessors and compliance teams
• Evaluation of modelling outputs and the impacts of building energy-efficient measures on funded and self-funded projects
• Working collaboratively with the team on cold-bridging analysis and FrSI calculations to meet requirements
• Working daily in Revit to BIM level daily.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified Architect with ARB membership or Architectural Technologist with MCIAT or working toward
• Passivhaus Designer accreditation is highly desirable
• Previous experience working on PAS2030, and PAS2035 is essential
• Experience working on PAS2038 is highly desirable
• Previous experience working on retrofit projects in the social housing sector would also be highly desirable
• Demonstrable experience working with tier 1, 2 and 3 contractors
• You must be proficient in Revit to BIM level
• Understanding of energy efficiency measures within the differing funding streams
• Due to the next to visit site you will need a UK driving licence and your own transport.
