We are recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a successful housing repairs and maintenance team for a local housing association in Chelmsford.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a wide range of high quality responsive repairs and maintenance tasks to housing stock such as fitting kitchens, painting, patching a wall, repairing tiles, all types of floor laying, repairing toilets, hanging doors, tracing leaks, fence repairs, etc.
• Using a PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Basic Criminal Record Check
• Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or ITAP
