Permanent position based in Ashbourne.
£20.00 per hour.
Experience with heavy plant or industrial machinery is important.
The role involves both planned and reactive maintenance.
Experience within waste management, recycling, construction or heavy industry is highly desirable.

Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on mobile and static plant.
Service and repair equipment including loaders, compactors, conveyors, shredders, balers and picking lines.
Diagnose and repair faults across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical looms, wiring and connections.
Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring faults.
Work closely with operational and engineering teams to maintain equipment availability.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
Report hazards, defects and incidents promptly.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Maintenance Fitter or similar.
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience with hydraulic systems.
Experience with electrical wiring, looms and connections.
Ability to work effectively in a busy operational environment.
Strong commitment to health and safety.
