Remuneration: £30,000 + profit related company bonus

The role Merchandising Representative - Fixings & Fastenings will involve:

• Field sales position dealing with a high quality range of fixings & fasteners
• Your time will be spent selling into both national & regional builders merchants such as: MKM, Huws Gray, Travis Perkins etc.
• Majority of your time will be spent working with existing customers ensuring that they have the correct training, stock and point of sale
• Liaising with customers to maximise their product range in store, whilst providing support and product demonstrations where require
• Merchandising & stock cleansing in both the shops and trade counters
• Attend and set up at trade shows and break them down afterwards

The ideal applicant will be a Merchandising Representative - Fixings & Fastenings who:

• Must have experience working within a builder’s merchant: Internal Sales, Sales Negotiator, Yard Assistant, Customer Service, Branch Manager etc.
• Ideal for someone to look to step up into their first field sales position
• Ideally have experience with fixings & fasteners (not essential)
• Must be physically fit, able to load vans with shop materials
• Must be hungry, enthusiastic and driven
• Must have high attention to detail
• UK Driving License
• IT Literate
