Client Accountant
to join the growing team, contributing to their exceptional service for property owners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Accountant, you will be integral to managing the financial operations of property portfolios. Your role will include:

Bank Reconciliations:
Conducting regular and precise reconciliation of all client bank accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.

Service Charge Budgeting:
Collaborating with property managers to prepare and review service charge budgets, ensuring alignment with lease requirements and operational needs.

Financial Reporting:
Producing monthly and quarterly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and expenditure summaries.

Lease Management:
Setting up and maintaining financial records for new leases, ensuring compliance with all lease terms.

Daily Banking:
Managing daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring efficient cash flow management.

Year-End Reconciliation:
Preparing year-end service charge accounts and supporting the audit process.

Credit Control:
Performing minimal credit control tasks, including monitoring arrears, issuing reminders, and liaising with tenants and property managers to resolve disputes.

Client Liaison:
Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, addressing queries, and providing clear and timely updates on financial matters.
Requirements

Proven experience in client accounting, within commercial property management. (3-5 years)

Proficiency in YARDI accounting software.

Strong understanding of service charge management and lease structures.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.

A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Relevant qualifications in accounting (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
