Join a busy and well-established water engineering specialist in Suffolk as a Civil Designer / CAD Technician. A successful contractor design team building civil engineering, environmental and landscape design solutions on a range of water projects from lakes and reservoirs to wetland creation, restoring rivers and waterways.

You’ll be a Civil Technician, Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Landscape Designer, CAD Technician or Project Coordinator interested to work on environmental and water projects.

A varied role with design, CAD, permitting and project duties including:

• Desktop acquisition of OS mapping and LIDAR data to prepare land surveys
• Produce CAD drawings and Civil 3D models in coordination with Project Managers
• Producing construction stage details, planning and permitting drawings and docs.
• Gathering ecology, archaeology, hydrology and engineering information
• Assisting with achieving environmental permit approvals
• Working on tender applications and project coordination to support the team.
• Designing water control features and preparing CAD files for CNC manufacture

The successful candidate will have strong CAD skills, Civil 3D knowledge would be helpful.

• Environmental Management
• Land Surveying
• Hydrology, Geomorphologist
• Ecology, Biodiversity Net Gain or Nutrient Neutrality
