Retrofit Designer Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of existing buildings to identify retrofit opportunities.
• Develop detailed retrofit designs that meet project goals and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with coordinators, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of retrofit solutions.
• Utilise advanced software and tools to create accurate and efficient retrofit designs.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the retrofit project lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to building retrofits and sustainability.
• Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of building systems, energy efficiency, and sustainable design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Professional certification in a relevant field (e.g., LEED, BREEAM) is a plus.
