Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days

Rates:
Fitter: £27.00 per hour
Mate: £16.25 per hour

Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Ductwork Fitter and Mate (Duct Pair) for a 1-month contract in St Albans. The role involves the installation of galvanised (tin) ductwork on a commercial site. This is a short-term project with no extension, so candidates must be reliable and ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install galvanised (tin) ductwork systems to specification
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Maintain safe and tidy working practices
• Work effectively as a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements

Fitter:

• Valid Blue CSCS Card
• IPAF (preferred)
• Own tools
• Full PPE
• Experience with rectangular and spiral ductwork
• Ability to lead and work efficiently with a mate

Mate:

• Valid Green CSCS Card
• Basic hand tools (preferred)
• Full PPE
• Previous experience assisting with ductwork (preferred)
