Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery
I'm currently supporting a fantastic education provider that is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to join their growing Construction department.

What you'll be doing:
* Delivering high-quality teaching and training across Level 1-3 Carpentry and Joinery programmes, apprenticeships, and adult learning courses
* Supporting learners to develop both practical trade skills and theoretical knowledge
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements
* Monitoring learner progress, setting SMART targets, and providing constructive feedback
* Developing innovative learning resources and teaching materials
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental objectives and learner success
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements
* Promoting safe working practices and maintaining high standards within workshop environments
What we're looking for:
* Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent)
* Industry experience within Carpentry and Joinery
* Teaching qualification and Assessor Award (or willingness to work towards these)
* Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their goals
* Ability to motivate and engage students from a variety of backgrounds

Salary: £33,487 (Non-QTS) to £38,487 (QTS) per annum, plus excellent benefits
Hours: 37 hours per week, Full Time
Contract: Permanent
