FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for ground Solar Installers for commercial projects based in South Wales & for continuing projects across the UK.
We are looking for Solar PV Installers, employed directly by a solar energy business on a contracting day rate plus company vehicle provided as required. Rates are negotiable by experience. Varying levels of experience in solar installations will be considered. Further training & development given where required.
There will be various ongoing contracts throughout the UK and you will be required to travel & on occasions away from home. Travel expenses and accommodation arranged by the company. You will be working as part of a team for project completions.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in planning and installing photovoltaic ground mounted systems delivering solar power
• Setting out and mounting systems and installing panels
• Conduct site assessments to determine best installation practices
• Using hand tools to complete installations
• Adhere to safety regulations
• Read and interpret technical drawings is an advantage (not an essential)
Skills and Experience required for the Groundwork PVSolar Installer
• Experience in ground solar PV installations
• Hold a CSCS card
• Have a strong mechanical and good electrical background or basic understanding of electrical systems
• Minimum of 2 years experience in solar PV installation on ground mounted solar systems.
• Familiar with a range of brands and types of panels, mountings and inverters
• Hold a UK driving licence
