Job Title: Semi-Skilled Site Fitter Architectural Metalwork & Balustrades
Location: Various Sites (London & Surrounding Areas)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Weeks plus
Rate: £140 to £150 a day

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Semi-Skilled Site Fitter to join a busy architectural metalwork installation team. The successful candidate will assist with the on-site fitting of balustrades, handrails, staircases, canopies , and other bespoke architectural steelwork.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with prior experience in construction or metalwork installation, looking to develop further within the industry.

• Assist in the installation of architectural metalwork and balustrades on construction sites

• Support skilled fitters with lifting, aligning, bolting, and fixing components

• Use hand and power tools as directed

• Ensure work is carried out safely, accurately, and in line with instructions or drawings

• Handle materials and equipment safely on site

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

• Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

• Work collaboratively with site teams and supervisors

• Previous experience in site fitting, metalwork, or construction

• Competent in the use of hand and power tools

• Good understanding of basic site health and safety practices

• CSCS card (essential)

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Punctual, reliable, and a positive team player

• Able to take instruction and willing to learn

• Experience installing balustrades, handrails, or staircases

• Familiarity with basic site drawings or measurements

• PASMA, IPAF or Manual Handling certification

• Driving licence and own transport
