The following duties are to be included in the role:
To be subject to general supervision of and act pursuant to the order, advise and direction of the Foreman / Manager(s) / Office Co-ordinators.
To carry out works as directed either as part of a team or individually making sure the works are completed in an orderly and timely manner.
To carry out maintenance works, repair work, adapt or replace on items such a metal gates/railings steel /doors / lock.
To install/fit various metal works such as balconies / railings / staircases / security doors / garage doors or to make good/ repair metal items on site or any other items, as instructed.
To carry out works at various locations as instructed.
To drive company vehicle, with passenger (team members) to place of work off load materials and tools as required.
To adhere to Health and Safety, internal and external regulations.
To coordinate with Mangers and/or work colleagues and report back any site issues or adaption that may be required.
To complete all necessary documentation of works, including company apps to complete works.
Liaise with the customer/client when necessary.
To keep all sites, clean and tidy and cordon off any areas that may be dangerous to the public to prevent any dangerous situation occurring.
To be responsible for keeping tools in order and report any fault with tools.
To be responsible for vehicle care such as cleanliness and report any faults and repairs that may be required.
