The Opportunity
Join a globally recognised heavy equipment manufacturer supporting critical construction and quarry operations across the UK.
This is a home-based Field Service Engineer role, covering the Bristol region, where you’ll take ownership of your day, travelling directly from home to customer sites. You’ll be working on a range of high-value plant machinery, playing a key role in keeping essential equipment operational.
With a team of just 12 engineers nationwide, this is a close-knit, specialist environment where your contribution is visible and valued.
The Role

Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy plant equipment

Working across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Managing your own workload – typically 1 to 3 jobs per day depending on complexity

Attending customer sites including quarries, construction, and infrastructure projects

Occasional overnight stays as required

Ensuring high standards of safety and customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)

Valid CSCS Card
-
Proven experience in fault finding and maintenance

Strong knowledge of:

Hydraulics

Electrical systems
-
Mechanical systems
-
Full UK Driving Licence
-
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Desirable (Not Essential)

HS2 Site Card
