Rate: £290 per day
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a commercial office fit-out project located in Sheffield City Centre . This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and compliance with health and safety standards. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

• Managing day-to-day operations on site to ensure the project runs on time and to budget.

• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.

• Overseeing quality control, site safety, and adherence to specifications.

• Conducting site inductions and ensuring all workers are briefed on safety protocols.

• Monitoring progress and reporting to the project manager/client.

• Resolving on-site issues and maintaining clear communication across all teams.

• Enforcing fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures in line with regulations.

• Completing and maintaining site paperwork, RAMS, and daily diaries.

• Black CSCS Card (essential).

• SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme – essential).

• First Aid at Work qualification (essential).

• Fire Marshal certification (essential).

• Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects, preferably office environments.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage subcontractors and multi-trade teams effectively.

• Competitive £290 per day rate.

• Monday to Friday working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 .
