We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day site delivery, ensuring programmes are planned, controlled and delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.
You will manage all site resources including labour, plant and materials, maintain strong health and safety compliance, and take ownership of site issues to ensure they are resolved promptly.
Key responsibilities
Manage daily site operations to programme, quality and cost targets
Control labour, plant, materials and subcontractor activity
Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
Monitor productivity, quality and progress against deadlines
Identify overspend and highlight cost‑saving opportunities
Ensure effective management of subcontractor time and payments
Liaise with internal teams and provide regular progress updates
Deliver strong customer service and site presentation standards
About you
Proven site management experience within residential housebuilding
Strong knowledge of construction processes and all trades
Experience working to NHBC standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills
IT literate and able to work collaboratively with site and office teams

First Aid at Work
Appropriate CSCS card
Desirable:
Scaffold inspection, SEATS/IEMA or Temporary Works Co‑ordinator
Previous experience in a Site Manager role (5+ years preferred)
