Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Consultant is a key role within the Sales team, setting the standard for sales performance, customer experience and professionalism across the region.
This role suits an experienced, target‑driven sales professional (new homes, property or similar) with strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness and a customer‑focused approach.
Key responsibilities
Deliver and exceed sales targets across developments
Proactively manage individual and team sales pipelines
Champion best practice use of CRM systems
Negotiate sales within agreed parameters and support escalated negotiations
Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the buying journey
Act as a senior point of contact for customer queries and lower‑level complaints
Support, coach and mentor Sales Consultants and Sales Advisors
Ensure presentation standards across sites exceed Cala requirements
Contribute to sales meetings, marketing activity and performance reporting
Support compliance with legislation, policies and competition law
About you
Proven sales experience in a target‑driven environment (new homes or similar preferred)
Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
Excellent customer service focus with a track record of achieving targets
Organised, professional and able to work independently and as part of a team
Confident using IT systems and CRM platforms
Knowledge of new homes sales, NHBC standards and IFAs is desirable
