2nd Line Support Engineer (SQL) |£26,000 - £30,000 | Chester (Hybrid)

This would be working for a global and growing SaaS business in Chester. Within the logistcal and construction sector with a Chester HQ.

The role itself is very varied.

• 2nd Line Support - fairly explanatory
• Project assistance for the the dev team - SQL, Testing, HTML/CSS, software deployment, system upgrades
• Advanced troubleshooting and resolution of IT issues, including software, hardware, and network-related problems

Salary is flexible but around £26k-£30k basic.

The right person for this role would have competent SQL skills. With a varied interest and experience in technology. Some commercial experience is needed but they will consider skills picked up outside of the commercial experience.

The role offers a varied working pattern. Some weeks 5 days in. Some weeks remote. Due to this you will need a driving license to get to the office comfortably.

It's a fairly new team, which means lots of quick progression and learning. With opportunities to progress into a more project focused role, software development, or to progress up the helpdesk route.
