Finance Manager – Salisbury
Our client is a well-established and growing business looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance function and support the continued growth of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working closely with a small team while contributing strategically to the wider business.
Based in Salisbury, the Finance Manager role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to make a real impact within a fast-paced environment. This is a broad and varied role where you will be involved in both operational finance and strategic support.
Reporting to the Finance Director, in your new role as Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and supporting a small finance team
Overseeing purchase, sales and nominal ledgers
Managing payroll and CIS processes
Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Monitoring financial systems and identifying improvements
Supporting wider business decision-making with financial insight
We are ideally looking for someone who is:
AAT qualified or qualified by experience
Experienced in a similar Finance Manager role
Confident managing financial processes through to final accounts
An excellent communicator with strong leadership skills
Experience within manufacturing or construction would be advantageous.
