Job Title: Sales Ledger Clerk

Location: Medway

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

About the Company:

Reed is recruiting on behalf of a reputable construction company in Medway, known for its robust projects and commitment to quality. We are seeking a diligent Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team and support their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process customer invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to resolve queries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales ledger role, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Studying towards AAT qualification is preferred.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
