I am seeking a dynamic Marketing Lead to spearhead my client’s marketing efforts and drive the business strategic objectives forward. With a current turnover of £15 million and a goal to reach £20 million in the next three years, this role is pivotal in shaping the marketing strategy and enhancing brand presence. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a construction/manufacturing background, a knack for strategic planning and a passion for excellence in marketing. This role is onsite with an early finish on Friday.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Lead and direct the marketing team, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to marketing strategies.
• Oversee the development and execution of marketing plans, including digital campaigns, social media, direct mail, and brochures.
• Collaborate with external marketing agencies for website updates, content creation, and email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
• Streamline processes and clarify roles within the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Plan and execute trade shows and exhibitions to boost brand visibility and engagement.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of all marketing channels to ensure optimal use and performance.
• Develop and maintain a content strategy that includes current photos, video testimonials, and regular updates across platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
• Utilise tools like Sales Navigator for lead generation and to enhance direct marketing efforts.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust plans as needed to meet business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Marketing Lead or similar leadership role in marketing.
• Strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of increasing revenue through innovative marketing strategies.
• Experience managing a marketing budget and making data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, Mailchimp, and Sales Navigator.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
• Creative and analytical mindset with the ability to assess effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
