Aggregate Industries are looking for an experienced construction project manager to support with a Capex project which involves the construction of a new conveyor. The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of civils and construction and be able to confidently liaise with construction suppliers.

Rate:
£500pd (outside IR35)
Contract length:
12 months
Shift Patterns:
Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:30
Start:
January 2025
Responsibilities:

Supporting the construction and delivery of the new conveyor

Liaising with construction suppliers, construction manager, land owners and internal stakeholders on a daily basis

Completing and filing all necessary documentation to support the installation
-
Managing the project from inception to completion
-
Encouraging and directing the project team working on the project
-
Tracking project process and identifying issues ahead of them occurring

Managing risk and reporting to stakeholders accordingly

Keeping stakeholders update with project progress
-
Advocating and encouraging a strong Health and Safety ethos on site at all times

Provide feedback towards cost saving techniques and recommendations to the procurement team
Essential requirements:
-
Experience managing projects within a complex construction environment

Educated to degree level in construction or relevant topic

In depth knowledge around project planning, implementation and management

Proven ability to manage project budgets and maintain a budget successfully

Strong verbal and written communication skills

High level of IT literacy
-
Strong knowledge of UK based Health and Safety legislation

Good engagement, motivation and negotiation skill
-
Ability to act with integrity at all times

Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
