Project Manager (EICA or M&E Background) Reading, £neg + bens
Our client, a growing Electrical and Mechanical Engineering contractor in the UK construction industry, primarily working within Water Utilities, is seeking a Permanent MEICA Project Manager to join their team overseeing projects with a value of up to £500,000, working across Thames and Southern Water frameworks in the South East.
As the Project Manager you will:

Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Supervise and coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilisation and efficiency.

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of work.

Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place.

Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.

Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
As the Project Manager you will have:

Strong experience in EICA (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) or M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) engineering.

A proven track record of successfully managing projects within the water and wastewater sector.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.

Relevant project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
