About the Role
Were looking for a detail-oriented Invasive Weed Surveyor to join our growing team in the Northwest. This is a hybrid role involving site visits, office-based reporting, and flexible home working. Youll play a key role in identifying and assessing invasive weeds particularly Japanese Knotweed at residential and commercial properties, supporting clients with accurate reporting, professional advice, and technical planning.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will have experience of surveying and managing knotweed and other invasive non-native species treatment programmes in both residential, commercial and development situations.
The role will primarily be focused on carrying out site surveys and the production of Invasive Weed Management Plans however, there will be the element of overseeing excavation and removal / burial works on site together with the operational aspect of routine in-situ management programmes.
Whilst the key geographical area of work will be the northwest of England and north Wales there will be a requirement to travel to the wider north of England, Midlands, south of England and into Scotland with the obvious need to stay away from home occasionally.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in surveying invasive weeds specifically Japanese Knotweed
Full CSJK (Certificated Surveyor of Japanese Knotweed) qualification is essential
PA1 & PA6AW is essential for this role.
Valid CSCS is essential this can be updated through the company if required.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Flexibility and willingness to travel as required
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
SSSTS this will be provided if not already in place
CAD
