We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aluminum Curtain Wall, Window, and Doors Estimator to join our dynamic team based in Peterlee. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial and residential projects.
Role Responsibilities
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to gather pricing and material requirements.
Evaluate project risks and opportunities to ensure accurate and competitive quotations.
Maintain and update cost databases and supplier pricing lists.
Collaborate with the sales and project teams to ensure alignment with client expectations.
Monitor industry trends and regulations related to aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors.
Requirements
Proven experience as an estimator in the aluminium curtain wall, window, and door industry.
Strong understanding of materials, fabrication, and installation processes.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in relevant system house estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
