Salary and benefits of a Refrigeration engineer

• 38-42k basic (40 hours)
• Door to door travel pay
• Van, uniform, fuel card
• Plenty of overtime available

The company is a well established Cambridgeshire based air conditioning and refrigeration company that specialise in service, maintenance and installation or a full range of commercial and heavy commercial equipment. They have a very strong reputation in the sector and their client base is very long standing. Their reputation has been instrumental in their growth over the years.

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a refrigeration engineer :-

• Covering a 50 / 60 mile radius around Peterborough
• Providing service, maintenance, breakdown, and some installation on commercial refrigeration
• Working on cold rooms, walk in fridges and freezer rooms, deck, refrigerated food production equipment
• Working with clients such as food shops factories and food production areas
• Staying away maybe 2-3 days per year

Experience needed to be a refrigeration engineer

• Living 15-20 miles around the Peterborough area
• Service, maintenance, breakdown and installation experience working on refrigeration - having any air conditioning experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• F Gas certificate needed
• C&G or NVQ would be ideal
