AWC Staff Services are looking for a Civil Engineering Site Manager, to work on Walpole Substation, Peterborough.

You must have experience in Civil Engineering, M&E and your SMSTS and CSCS tickets. Substation experience, National Grid Persons ticket and First Aid at work would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a site team and reporting to Project Manager
• Management of subcontractors
• Delivering works ensuring the highest level of safety
• Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
• Writing & reviewing RAMS
• Client interface
• Progress reporting accurately
• Check and sign off Temporary works

Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering background – Essential
• SMSTS – Essential
• CSCS – Essential
• First Aid – Preferred
• Substation experience – Advantageous
• National Grid Persons - Advantageous

Start: 4th August 2025
Duration: 4 Months
Rate: Industry Standard
