VGC Group are recruiting an experienced Civils / Groundworks Ganger for a major long-term infrastructure project in Penrith. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a leading contractor on a high-profile site.

You will play a key role in supporting site operations, supervising teams, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Supervise and coordinate Groundworkers and Plant Operators

• Ensure works are carried out safely and in line with specifications

• Support daily site operations and assist with problem-solving

• Communicate effectively with site management and teams

• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and housekeeping

• Strong background in Civils and Groundworks

• Previous experience leading or overseeing site teams

• Confident communicator with good organisational skills

• Reliable, proactive, and able to start immediately

• Valid Gold CSCS card

• SSSTS or SMSTS

• Proof of right to work in the UK
