Plant Fitter - Oxford | £36,500 + strong benefits & long-term development

We are looking for a skilled Plant Fitter to join a well-established Oxford based operation within a busy construction environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Plant Fitter within a fast-paced Oxford based construction environment, you will be responsible for:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of diesel, MHE and specialist plant equipment
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes across mechanical systems
  • Liaising with controllers and customers to ensure clear communication on repairs and timescales
  • Carrying out inspections and ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational
  • Identifying additional repair work and communicating requirements clearly to clients
  • Completing all job documentation accurately and professionally
  • Supporting revenue opportunities through effective identification of further works

What we're looking for

To be successful in this Plant Fitter role in Oxford, you will have:

  • HGV Category C licence (essential)
  • Level 3 qualification in engineering or equivalent apprenticeship
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering or construction plant maintenance
  • Experience as a Plant Fitter, HGV Technician or similar engineering role
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment faults independently
