The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor , you will support senior team members on a variety of projects in affordable housing, government, education, healthcare, private residential, hospitality, and sport . You will assist with cost planning, contract administration, and project management while gaining exposure to both pre- and post-contract work.

This consultancy offers structured APC support , mentoring from senior professionals, and a clear pathway to Chartered and Senior QS level . With hybrid working (2 days from home) , this role provides excellent professional development and work-life balance.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

You will ideally have:

• A RICS Accredited degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
• 1+ years Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy/PQS firm
• Basic Pre and Post Contract experience
• A valid UK driving license is beneficial
• Ambition to achieve MRICS status
