Junior Commercial Manager - Construction Industry

Reed Property & Construction are currently working with a family ran surfacing and groundworks contractor based near Oldbury with a dynamic, friendly and supportive company culture.

They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and commercial person to join their team and work closely with Ryan who is one of the Directors. They want someone who has a strong desire to develop a career in the construction industry.

This role will essentially become the right hand person to Ryan and learn the entire commercial side of the company.

Salary on offer: Starting of £25,000 per annum

Location: Oldbury

Day to Day of the Role:

• Work closely with experienced team members to learn the ins and outs of the commercial construction process.
• Engage in tasks related to tendering and estimation, with a view to progressively take on more responsibilities.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand the full scope of commercial construction operations.
• Receive on-the-job training and support to enhance your industry and commercial knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrable mathematical proficiency.
• A strong desire and ambition to pursue a progressive career in the construction industry.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within a commercial construction setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
