We are looking for several Civil Operatives to join our Highways Infrastructure clients. The role will be covering the Midlands and occasionally further afield, with a salary between £36,000 - £49,000 depending on experience and certifications. Role will require the occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities for Civil Operatives
General civils works - Working at height, Lantern installation, Sign erection, Duct laying, Reinstatement, Cabling and Groundwork.
Construction of chambers to highway & utility specifications
Making sure all installations being completed to the correct standard
Excavation
Building of cabinet/feeder pillar sites
Operating heavy plant or wagons
Follow health and safety policies/procedures
Trail holes/hand excavation if required
Identifying risks and problems on site with the ability to provide pro-active solution’s
Requirements for Civil Operatives
Able to undertake manual work including manual trenching cable laying etc
Happy working night shifts and away from home if required
Take part in all training provided
Understanding of Health and Safety policies/procedures
Able to work as part of a team with good communication skills
HERS registered / a CSCS Card Holder
Showing a high level of understanding of working upon high-speed roads, traffic signs, highway lighting and/or highway technology, associated civils works.
Full UK Driving Licence
