Passive Fire Supervisor

We are recruiting an experienced Passive Fire Supervisor to lead site teams delivering fire stopping, fire door installation/remediation, and compartmentation works across live projects.

This is a hands-on supervisory role ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with FIRAS / BM TRADA standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support teams of passive fire operatives
• Allocate daily tasks and manage productivity on-site
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with Approved Document B
• Deliver toolbox talks and enforce Health & Safety standards
• Maintain installation records, photographic evidence, and compliance documentation
• Liaise with clients and third-party inspectors

Requirements

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Valid CSCS card
• 3+ years experience in fire stopping or fire door remediation
• Strong understanding of BM TRADA / ADB requirements
• Ability to read fire strategy drawings

NVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or Carpentry desirable.
