Birchwell Associates is looking for an experienced Solar Panel Installer to join our growing renewables team. Youll work across a range of residential and commercial sites, installing and maintaining solar PV and thermal systems that help clients reduce their carbon footprint and energy bills.
This is a field-based role involving travel across the North of England, with occasional overnight stays (expenses and accommodation covered).
Your Role Will Include:Installing and maintaining solar PV and solar thermal systems
Commissioning systems and ensuring compliance with standards
Interacting professionally with customers on-site
Collaborating with project teams, roofers, and electricians
Ensuring all work meets safety regulations and quality benchmarks
Proven experience in solar PV and/or thermal installations
Comfortable working at height and on rooftops
Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physically fit and health & safety aware
Willing to travel and stay overnight when required
Able to manage time and meet deadlines effectively
Roofing experience
Relevant electrical certifications
CSCS card
