Position: Mechanical Inspector

Location: Islington, London
Salary: £30 - £35

The Role:

• The Mechanical Inspector role is to Inspect and monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance and quality.
• Maintain detailed site diaries and documentation.
• Provide technical advice on engineering solutions, specifications, and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure projects adhere to health and safety standards, statutory regulations, and budget constraints.
• Liaise with stakeholders, attend meetings, and assist in preparing technical reports.

The Candidate:

• HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent, or a recognized apprenticeship with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including gas installations and communal heating.
• Experience in inspection, project management, and contractor supervision.
• Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
• Familiarity with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and British Standards.
