CSCS Groundworker (Deep Drainage) - Newport

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Groundworker with deep drainage experience to join a major infrastructure project in Newport.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile civil engineering project installing an underground cable connection from a substation to a new data centre in Newport. The project is expected to be given the go-ahead shortly, offering long-term opportunities with competitive rates and consistent hours.

• Carrying out deep drainage and excavation works
• Installing drainage systems, ducts, and underground services
• Assisting with the installation of an underground cable route between a substation and data centre
• Working safely around excavations and underground utilities
• Using hand and power tools as required
• Following site drawings and instructions from supervisors
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
• Reporting hazards or safety concerns promptly
• Working effectively as part of the site team

• Valid CSCS Card (essential)
• Proven experience in deep drainage and civil engineering projects
• Experience working around underground services and utilities
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements
• Own PPE
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well within a team
